Opener not responding
The door won't move when you press the wall button or remote, or the opener hums, clicks or has gone quiet. We trace it to power, wiring, the logic board, the motor or the door itself, and fix what is actually wrong.

Openers, repaired or replaced
Your opener lifts and lowers the heaviest moving part of your home every day, so when it stops working you notice right away. The door won't open, it stops halfway, it reverses on the way down, or the motor runs and nothing moves. Our team starts every visit with a proper diagnosis, because a humming opener can also mean a broken spring, and a door that reverses is often just a sensor. We find the real cause, quote before any work begins, and fix it.
If your opener is beyond a sensible repair, or you want Wi-Fi control, we install a new one, set the travel limits, program your remotes and keypads and test the safety reverse before we leave. Openers don't fail on a schedule, so our dispatch is open 24/7, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
What we fix
The door won't move when you press the wall button or remote, or the opener hums, clicks or has gone quiet. We trace it to power, wiring, the logic board, the motor or the door itself, and fix what is actually wrong.
Grinding, rattling or squealing often means worn gears, a loose chain or belt, or a door that is out of balance. We repair the opener, tighten and adjust the drive, and check the door too.
Safety sensors that are dirty, out of line or wired loose are the usual cause. We align, rewire or replace them, reset the travel limits and test the auto-reverse.
We program new remotes and wall keypads, replace them when they have worn out, and check that the opener is receiving the signal.
We install and set up smart openers with Wi-Fi control, and repair them when they stop connecting or responding.
A dead control board, a failing motor or stripped gears can often be repaired. When it makes more sense to replace the opener, we tell you why and quote it first.

It depends on the drive type (chain or belt), the motor and the features you want, such as Wi-Fi or smart control, a battery backup or a wall-mounted design. We give you upfront pricing and a quote before any work starts. Call 289-937-1645, or send us your door size and the model on your current opener, and our team will go through the options with you.
Start with the basics. Make sure the opener is plugged in and the outlet has power, then try the wall button and the remote separately. If the wall button works but the remote doesn't, it is usually the remote battery or programming. If the opener light blinks, count the flashes, because that is the opener's error code. If the motor hums but the door does not move, a broken spring is a common cause, so stop pressing the button. If it still won't respond, our team will test the logic board, gears, wiring and safety sensors and tell you what it needs before we start.
The safety sensors near the floor tell the opener that nothing is in the way. If they are dirty, knocked out of line, blocked or have a loose wire, the door will reverse or refuse to close. Wipe both lenses, check that nothing is in the beam and that the sensors face each other with their lights on. If it keeps happening, we realign, rewire or replace the sensors and test the auto-reverse.
Yes. Try a fresh battery first. If that doesn't help, the remote may have lost its pairing or worn out, or the receiver on the opener may be failing. We program new remotes and wall keypads, replace them when needed and check that the opener is receiving the signal.
If the problem is a sensor, remote, keypad, wiring fault or a single worn part, a repair is usually the sensible choice, and every part we replace is covered for 3 years. If the opener has a failing motor or logic board, stripped gears again and again, or lacks the features you want, such as Wi-Fi control, replacement may make more sense. Our technician diagnoses first and gives you an honest recommendation and a quote before any work begins.
We service Chamberlain, LiftMaster, Genie and other common makes and models, in chain drive, belt drive, wall-mounted and Wi-Fi or smart versions. If you are not sure what you have, send us a photo of the label on the opener and we will tell you what we can do.
