We respect your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you contact Ace Garage Door Services or use this website, how we use it and the choices you have. Last updated: October 2026.
Information we collect
- Details you give us when you call, email or send a quote request: your name, phone number, email address, city, a description of the problem and any photo you choose to attach.
- Basic website data such as pages visited, device type and approximate location (city level), collected through cookies or similar tools used for advertising measurement and analytics.
How we use it
- To reply to your request, give you a quote, book and complete your service visit, and send invoices and receipts.
- To follow up on our work, including warranty service.
- To measure whether our advertising works, and to understand how people use our website so we can improve it.
We never sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We only share information with service providers that help us run the business: our job scheduling and invoicing software (Housecall Pro), our website host (Cloudflare), the email service that delivers quote requests to us, and Google (for Google Ads conversion measurement and website analytics). They may only use it to provide their services to us. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies and advertising measurement
Our website uses a Google tag to count visits and to measure when a visit leads to a phone call tap or a quote request, so we can tell which of our Google ads work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can control Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com.
How long we keep it
We keep customer and job records for as long as we need them to provide service, honour warranties and meet tax and legal record-keeping requirements.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, at any time. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
